Its peak transmittance is typically ≥70%. It is fabricated using float glass or fused silica substrates with ion-sputtered hard coatings, has a thickness of approximately 1.1 mm, and can be made in circular or square shapes. Common clear apertures include Φ8.7 mm, Φ21 mm, or 11 mm × 11 mm, and it supports 0° angle of incidence as well as custom angles.
